Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Bottled - winter seasonal. On tap - year-round.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2015 Bottle in pint glass from The Drinkery, Londonderry NH. Aroma is yeasty dough, caramel, bread, with sweet floral notes. Appearance is hazy dark red-brown with nice sparkle and finger-width off-white head with fair retention and nice lacing. Taste is medium sweet with some fruit and light sour. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average to lively carbonation and dry, slightly spicy bitter finish. Overall, this beer was more yeasty and less hoppy than one would expect. It was also quite old so I donít think this is the most representative rating. Iíll have to re-rate in the future.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2015 Tap. This fell a bit short for me. Not sure if i just donít like rye or if the way this beer incorporates it. Drinkable but not my thing.

Pours a reddish copper with a lacy head. Aroma is hoppy and spicy. Taste is a balance of the spicy malt and hop in a really good way. Not too sweet. Sharp carb and thick mouthfeel. Really interesting and drinkable.
