Pours a ruby red with frothy tan head. Lots of hops on the nose. Finishes with a spicy hop finish. Overall a delicious beer and would definitely have more of

Draught at CBC ’13. Hazy red liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of pepper, caramel, citrus, toffee, bread and pine. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of pine, citrus and toffee. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice stuff.

On Tap. Dark Amber. Small, but nice tan head. Carmel, touches of sweetness, mixed with a a solid hops fix. A great beer for when you aren’t feeling an IPA hops level. Just a great anytime beer.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ktwse (706) - SWEDEN - MAY 3, 2013
Clear amber with low off-white head. Aroma of caramel, resin. Taste is very bitter for a pale ale with some balancing sweetness. Body is light with average carbonation. Lingering resin finish.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 Douberd (617) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 2, 2013
Bottle, 355 ml, at home. Poured into a shaker glass. ABV 6.6%
Opens with a gush, fortunately I had my glass close, so I saved the mess. Deep caramel colour on the body, with no activity in it. Head is a bit taller than one finger, slighty off-white in colour, with average retention and medium lacing left on the glass.
Aroma of caramel, grapes, sugar, red apples, pineapple, a sort of berries that I cannot recall its name.
Taste is less sweet than I was expecting based on the aromas, but still quite sweet. Just as complex as the aromas but not so intense, which makes sense since the one I have was bottled on 2010. Lots of fruits, alcohol is there, sugars. Moderate bitterness on the aftertaste, again probably because of the age, this one has 70 IBUs. I don’t dare to imagine how delicious this would be when much fresher.
Medium thick body, quite carbonated.
Overall a fantastic beer!

Dark copper color. Quickly dissipating soapy head. Not to muck hatch hops. This beer is one that gets really good as it warms up. Soapy taste with smoothness hard to explain. Mild notes of pine and dawn dish soap.

12oz bottle into tulip glass, rusty-red color with off-white head. Aroma of fruity/floral hops (grapefruit, lemon, pineapple), toast and caramel malt. Taste is caramel malt, nicely balanced hop bitterness finished with rye spiciness. Light body, low carbonation, smooth, creamy with bitter spiciness lingering. Good stuff.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy ruby-brown color with one finger of off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, sweet malt, and a clean fruity hoppiness. Taste mimics the nose. Grapefruit dominates to start. As it warms more spice and pine comes through, with a delicious hoppy bitterness throughout.

Aromas of white grape skin, peach skin, somewhat resinous spice, damp moss, & subtle malt. The flavours are deliciously fresh -- lemon zest, spicy rye, hints of nutmeg, lots of berry, ending with a good malt backbone. Medium bodied, with a dry and spicy lasting finish, this is a favourite.
