4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
For a rye itís everything you want. Dry finish spicy rye flavor this beer is so well balanced as is all of the founders products. It has a wonderful hop aroma both citrusy and spicy. The hop flavor is similar to the aroma but I find it to be slightly floral to. You donít have to like rye beers to love this beer. Prost

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
2013, fresh bottle. Appearance is a nice deep red with a thin white head that disperses quickly, leaving minimal lacing. The aroma is very floral, with a subtle hint of malt. The taste starts out with the maltiness, and flows right into the spicy, dryness of the rye in the finish. Overall, it's a very solid beer
