I got an aroma of dijon mustard on this. Tastes like a baked rye chip, with a slightly bready finish that was somewhat tart. JK (2949), Richfield, Minnesota, USA

This beer could probably fit in the American pale ale category. Copper color and well carbonated. polomagnifico (533), Saginaw, Michigan, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Cloudy, thick maroon with a frothy off white beige head. Smell is bittersweet malt with a lovely rich earthy hop aroma. Taste is somewhat more light bodied than expected, with a smooth earthy, grassy, faint sweetness. Nice rye flavor, and a quality beer that suffers from a metallic finish however.
