Redís Rye pours clourdy deep copper red with a perfect creamy tan head that lasts a good while and leaves excellent lacing. The aroma is sweet caramel and lovely bitter floral hops. The flavor is caramel and floral hops. They are blended well together. The rye is noticeable in the background. Overall this is a delightful beer.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
The appearance is an opaque brown with a medium white head, and the aroma blends rye and floral hops. The taste is very nice due to the mild bitterness, slight sourness, and a touch of sweetness, and the palate combines a medium body, thick and slick texture, soft carbonation, and a slightly bitter finish.

Cellared. 12 oz bottle, brown hue with small tan creamy head, smells \ tastes almost like a barley wine at this point, has a nice rye back bone, some sweet yeast has taken over, not much crisp biterness at this point anymore anyway but I do not really ever remember this having all that much of hop characteristic when fresh, overall, pretty decent and the rye does stick out

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours red copper with a quickly dissipating head. Aromas of grapefruit and piney citrus dominate a more subtle malt character. Taste however is doughy rye, caramel and malt balanced by the pine resin citrus bitterness. Medium body and carbonation with a crisp and dry finish. Overall a nicely balanced and flavorful brew. I would definitely drink this one again.

Excellent color, smells nice and hoppy. Great on the palate but leaves a little something to be desired in the aftertaste.

Tap at draught 55, NYC. Poured a ruby amber colour with a small off white head. Nose has loads of rye spice, floral hops and citrus tones. Taste is more of a spicy citrus flavour with caramel malt adding to a huge backbone. Grassy tones come late. Booze hidden. Great stuff

Bottle - Pours dark tea color with an average head. Has a nice hop aroma and a somewhat citrus hop taste but more a malty body. Fairly dry finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep crimson almost purple pour with eighth inch of creamy beige head. Nose has strong citrus hops, very juicy, rye, and sticky pollen. Lively carbonation, thick creamy mouthfeel, bitter crisp finish. Flavors of pine and some citrus hops, expertly balanced with lots of carmel malts, some rye is obvious but not overbearing, kind of creamy. Really good rye IPA.

Enjoyed this as it really had good balance. Piney and citrus aroma with a little rye. Copper color with a nice head. Good mouthfeel with bitterness that complimented the carbonation. Also quite smooth. There was a strong mellow bitterness that blended well with the spiciness of the rye. Good stuff.
