3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Has a sour, bready smell to it, little bit of a funky smell as well, appearance is a brownish ale looking, the taste is something I didnít expect. 70 IBUís, tastes more to me. Could use a hint a sweetness, higher ABV would cure that, heard a lot about this beer, wasnít impressed. This doesnít live up to its hype imo.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle in pint glass from The Drinkery, Londonderry NH. Aroma is yeasty dough with sweet floral notes. Appearance is hazy dark red-brown with trace sparkle and small off-white head with decent lacing. Taste is medium sweet with light sour. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and slightly spicy finish. Overall, this beer was more yeasty and less hoppy than one would expect. It was also quite old so I donít think this is the most representative rating. Iíll have to re-rate in the future.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2015 Tap. This fell a bit short for me. Not sure if i just donít like rye or if the way this beer incorporates it. Drinkable but not my thing.
