COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Citrus and floral. Very ipa like. Rye makes it somewhat unique yet still not enough to be all that different

Draft. Pours a beautiful copper color with a white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is exquisite, with strong fruity citrusy hoppy notes, peaches and oranges. Taste is a well balanced mild sweet and bitter. Body is light with a mild sweetness and bitterness that lingers into finish. Always a favorite!

Has a sour, bready smell to it, little bit of a funky smell as well, appearance is a brownish ale looking, the taste is something I didn’t expect. 70 IBU’s, tastes more to me. Could use a hint a sweetness, higher ABV would cure that, heard a lot about this beer, wasn’t impressed. This doesn’t live up to its hype imo.

Wow. Red's is beautiful. Pours a deep amber / red color with almost no cap. Mild aroma of rye with some floral. Flavor is elegant. Rye, maybe a little cinnamon, a little herbal, with a bittersweet finish. Red's passes the test. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours a deep amber with a tannish head which sustains for a while. This beer has one of my favorite aromas - floral, rye, some citrus. The taste is some malt sweetness which blends nicely with following hop bitterness and spiciness of the rye. The finished is bitter - grapefruit mostly - and somewhat dry. Another great beer from Grand Rapids.

On tap at Nobi. Pours deep red cloudy amber. Somewhat greenish tan head. Deliciously hoppy and full of citrus flavors, wonderfully balanced and smooth, without malty sweetness. Crisp rye presence is like a smack in the face...like going from standard to high definition...like going from black and white to color...you get it.
