COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Reddish amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice nose of hops and sweet malts. Lots of floral bitterness and a good malt flavor with lots of rye. This is a tasty brew.

Bottle. Pours amber/red with small off white head. Aroma has orange and grapefruit and something more I can’t put my finger on, probably the rye, like some kind of spiced bread. Taste has blood orange, more of the spiced bread kind of flavour, slightly bubblegummy. Nice body with a balanced bitterness. Very interesting, totally different and delicious

One of the better IPAs I’ve had. Pours with a deep rust color that lets light through, and a pretty substantial head. Lots of hops up front in the aroma, and of course like any IPA there are a lot of hops in the flavor. But the finish is clean, no pronounced, hoppy, twangy aftertaste. A strong tone of ruby red grapefruit juice throughout. This won’t replace Sierra Nevada’s Ruthless Rye as my favorite IPA, but it’s a good one.

Bottle shared by Sloth. A lovely ruby amber with a big ass nose of full flower hops. Surprisingly drinkable as body is much lighter than initially perceived. Malty with bready hop imbalance that strangely works well. Abrupt finish. Next!

Draught. Bright red with light head but good lacing. Pine aroma with some malty sweetness and fruit tones. Full bodied and syrupy. Sweet, punctuated by spicy rye and a bit of hop bitterness. Clean and balanced.
