COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Wow. Red's is beautiful. Pours a deep amber / red color with almost no cap. Mild aroma of rye with some floral. Flavor is elegant. Rye, maybe a little cinnamon, a little herbal, with a bittersweet finish. Red's passes the test. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours a deep amber with a tannish head which sustains for a while. This beer has one of my favorite aromas - floral, rye, some citrus. The taste is some malt sweetness which blends nicely with following hop bitterness and spiciness of the rye. The finished is bitter - grapefruit mostly - and somewhat dry. Another great beer from Grand Rapids.

On tap at Nobi. Pours deep red cloudy amber. Somewhat greenish tan head. Deliciously hoppy and full of citrus flavors, wonderfully balanced and smooth, without malty sweetness. Crisp rye presence is like a smack in the face...like going from standard to high definition...like going from black and white to color...you get it.

pour is dark copper, slightly cloudy, denser murky white head. Nose is hopped up, light rye spice and juicy citrus and sticky piney hops. Taste is a bit less fresh hop, spice is mild with a more present malt body, biscuity and chewy, lighter carbonation, soft citrus and sticky pine, very creamy feel, soft body.

Pours a nice dark copper red with a khaki head. The aroma is sweet but rich with hops. The flavor is likewise sweet with an up front spice of the rye and smooth barley but kicked up with a nice round hop presence. There is a grapefruit orange peel citrus with a good bit of delicious earthy floral hops, great combo. The carbonation is just enough to leave a tingle and support the grains. A go to standard, excellent brew.
