COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Bottled - winter seasonal. On tap - year-round.

Note: Formerly Redís Rye P.A.

Bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a medium head. Aroma of floral hops (cascades?), balanced against sweet malt. The flavor is pretty similar - hoppy, but well-balanced, with not much rye coming through. Thereís not a ton going on, but itís all well-made.

On tap poured into a shaker-like glass. The aroma is a roasty caramel with grapefruit citrus, bread crust, light biscuit and graham, and a touch of pepper. The beer is a clear caramel red color with a light brown head, a light web lace, a thin ring and a thin tail of a surface. Itís highly bitter with a medium sweetness. The waxy texture has a medium full body with an active, fuzzy carbonation. The finish is toast, caramel, some citrus, and a touch of resin - the rye isnít really that prevalent. The resin sticks around in the aftertaste with some pepper traces, but itís mostly clean.

A bit too hoppy but good! But I got used to the taste as I drank it down. Beautiful color. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of sweet fruit and citrus. A dark reddish amber pour with a non- lasting tan head and minimal lacing. The taste a nice combination of hop bitterness and citrus freshness with hint of spice in the finish. Medium body and medium crisp carbonation. Overall, a bitter citrusy IPA.

From growler. Deep cherry red with off white head. Piney spicey aroma. Great rye kick that showcases the spicy hops well. One of my fav styles and this is good. With a bit of carmel and hops on the finish.

Drought. Copper red with small beige spongy head, hoppy aroma, sweetish hoppy taste with a hint of rye, medium finish, very well balanced hoppiness with slightly bitter aftertaste. Very good brew.

Bottle. Pours an opaque red-copper color with a thin tan head. Aroma is citrus and malts. Moderate carbonation and body with a great crisp finish. Sweet taste of malts up front followed by a nice bitter grapefruit hop flavor. This is a really well balanced brew. One of the best rye IPAs Iíve had and one of my favorite beers overall.
