COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

0.355 l bottle at Konttori, Tampere. Reddish amber color. Sweetish aroma with perfumed and citrusy hops, caramel in the background. Bittersweet, caramelly, toffeish and nutty flavor with firm citrusy hop note. Strong slightly hard and soapy bitterness in finish. Nice firm taste, hop profile could be softer.

Berry, sweet malt, grapefruit hops, and wet grass/pine aroma. Re with off-white head; frothy with decent lacing. Berry, with nice hop flavours (grapefruit / grass). Excellent balance, medium level of bitterness...sessionable.

Cask. Dry hopped with amarillo hops. Hazy copper orange color with about a 1 finger white head. Fruity aroma with orange, pineapple maybe, with a hint of grapefruit in the background. Sweeter flavor with only a hint of rye towards the finish. Lots of grapefruit is present too with a mildly bitter finish. I’m not usually a fan of cask beers, but in this case it certainly works.

POurs dark red with a slight head. A combined nose of spices and malt sweetness. Palate shows the bitterness of the hops and a bit of a sweet finish. A dry but spiced hop note sits on the finish.

orange amber brew whose flowery hops and rye bite make for an overall good beer.

Very nice beer, pours like an imperial red or a wee heavy, good head retention, taste is very hoppy, intense, with some major malt backing it up, very sticky, like syrup, smooth, bitter ending. Very drinkable, a little boozy but not too bad. All in all a very solid beer I would revisit.
