Oct 6, 2008 Pours a deep cloudy amber brown color with an off-white frothy head. Aroma is very sweet and hoppy, with some strong citrus and pineapple notes. Flavor starts out sweet and malty with a lot of the pineapple and citrus coming through. It quickly gets bittered by the strong piney hops that appear and all but consume the sweetness. The hops ride through the finish and leave a pleasant bittersweet aftertaste. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation. Really good rye beer and ipa.

Oct 2, 2008 Red amber pour, cream colored head. Aroma has some grainy cereal, lemongrass, sweet malt. Rather crisp with flavors similar to what the nose suggests. All present in good balance. Some caramel covered light red fruits. Very clean finishing, very good. Would really like to try the Black.

Aroma of fresh citrusy hops mingled with matly sweetness and a just a hint of grain.The flavor is awesome, first you taste fresh hops, some citrus,some floral,and then you get some of the malt sweetness, the flavors deepen as it warms,nice full mouthfeel,with a dry finish. This stuff is The Bomb !

Sep 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. Muddy red brown pour. Light citrusy, floral/piney aroma. Great deep, hoppy, floral, grassy taste with a bitter strike at the end. It’s delicious.

Sep 16, 2008 Right from the start this is a special beer given the aroma. A wonderful citrus and melon aroma with some pine and something that reminds me of taken that first deep breath outside on a clear, cool autumn day on the farm. The flavor is a joy-filled romp of fresh green melon and grapefruit. Maybe a little thing but certainly the best of this type of beer I have ever tasted. I must bring home a six of this.

Sep 14, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours brownish red with a thin crisp white head, specks of lace. S<mells metallic and red fruit hoppy, some sweet malts as well. Tastes red fruity hoppy bitter with some hop and malt sweetness. Medium body, good carbonation.
