COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Bottle sampled at SBWF. Pours out in a shady amber colour with a rich dense off-white foam. Rich rounded aroma of resin, caramel, sweet raspberries, Seville oranges and flowers. Medium-bodied with notes of resin, red grapefruit, rye and flowers. Smooth mouthfeel. Long medium-bitter finish of resin, caramel, red berries and orange-peels.

Bottle. Pours a very nice reddish brown color with a fluffy 2 finger head taht slowly settles and leaves a nice lace as it goes down. Fruity floral hop aroma fills my noise as I take my first sniff. An interesting first taste as the rye used gives a different type of taste compared to the usual malt profile. Nice an smooth subtle sweetness then gives way to a nice hop bite that lingers. Some citrus rind type bitterness along with fruit and floral. Pretty tasty! Nicely balanced. Medium mouthfeel. Minimal alcohol notes.

Bottle. Red amber colour, small white head. Aroma is very hoppy with very floral hints. Also pineapple and some citrus. Taste is very bitter and also fresh. Some floral notes with pineapple, grass and pine. Big caramel base. Finish is perhaps exceedingly bitter with lots of hops. Very long duration.

Sample from bottle at SBWF. Finaly I got to rate a specialty grain, one of the best, unfourtunately it was just a rather dull APA...

Dark brown with a red note. Clear. Has a faint yellow head, fully lasting. Aroma is heavy hoppy, grassy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and heavy bitter, notes of wet hay too. Dry texture and soft carbonation.
