Commercial Description:
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

This is a beer I enjoy, except for the Ghandi like face smiling at me from the bottle. It pours a cloudy dark red, with a small head that quickly fades. The aroma is hops mixed with rye, which is similar to the flavor, which has hints of spice hiding within it. Over all a tasty beer.

Bottle. Pours hazy caramel, big off white head. Aroma is honey, wheat, sweet floral, pumpkin pie, slight vanilla. Flavor is grass, wheat, hops, bitter, rye bread, slight anise, slight caramel. Nice blend.

Cloudy red appearance with very thick head (too much really for my liking). The rye is noticeable in the flavor, and is balanced well by malts. Hops become more pronounced towards the bitter end. I am reminded of Faygo Red Pop to some degree. I found this to have a bit too much carbonation and the floaters (yeast?) added a non-pleasant palate. Very close to being perfect if not for those two things.

Pours a rich dark amber. Smells of citrus and tastes of floral hops and malt. It has a bitter finish. That was really the only part of the beer I didn’t enjoy.

Slightly cloudy deep copper color. Nose is citrusy hops. Medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Nice hoppiness and rye flavor.

Shared with CBA. Rich head on red copper. Red grapefruit aroma with spruce edges. Warm malt and enjoyable grapefruit flavour. Delicious malt.

Pours a dark reddish with brown hints and a thin white head. Aroma was some aged citrus hops and maltiness. Flavor was hoppy, malty sweet, and had a little rye crispness coming through. I saw this beer for over six months and never picked it up, im glad i tried it.
