Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Very dark ruby pour. Full body. Head disappeared. Thankfully not as sweet as Lindemans or St Louis. Big fruity raspberry. Better than most.

Poured from bottle into a snifter. Color is a clear dark red with a small light pink head that fades. Minimal lacing. Aroma is sour and sweet raspberries.Slight sour bite upfront with lots of raspberry. Not overly sweet. Some yeasty characteristics on the finish. Mouthfeel is slightly sharp upfront but finishes cleanly. This is the definition of a fruit beer. Not artificial tasting, not super sweet, not syrupy, and still maintains beer characteristics.

Bottle. Sweet earthy raspberry and slightly lactic aroma. Deep rosy red with a moderate pink head. Sweet raspberry malt flavor, as well as a little bitter raspberry seed, and some tartness in the finish Medium body, soft carbonation. I’m usually not especially hopeful when it comes to raspberry beers, so this was a really nice surprise. Not quite on par with New Glarus Raspberry Tart, but still very well done.

Tap at stagshead. Pours deep ruby color with nice head. Nose of raspberry syrup. tastes of jammy raspberry, some cranberry, and grenadine. You also get some light malt, wheat, lemon, and touch of tartness. quite fizzy and refreshing seems fine to drink with breakfast

I can no longer say that I don’t like fruit beer, because I like this one. It pours ruby red with a head that fades to nothing after a minute and a couple of sips. The aroma is a rich malt and bright, tart raspberries. The flavor is that, too. I thought I picked up on cranberries, too. I wouldn’t want this often, and one is enough, but I enjoyed every drop of this one.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a deep crimson with minimal head. Aroma of straight raspberry juice. Taste is medium tart. Raspberry juice with a little malty goodness on the back end. Full bodied with a thin yet slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, very good. Definitely hits the spot on a hot day.

What a fruit beer should be. Smells like a beer. Crisp with a full raspberry flavor. Sweet and tart but in good balance. The initial sweetness takes you to the edge of cloying but then it pulls back a bit to bring some of the beer flavor in. Excellent easy drinking and higher than expected abv. Perfect for a day outside.
