3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light pink large frothy head. Fairly dark reddish body.
Fresh raspberries greet the nose. Seems to get more wheaty as it warms.
Sweet, but slightly sour raspberries are dominate the taste. Finishes dry and wheaty.
Palate is a bit too fizzy for me. But decent balance of sweet / sour. Just like raspberries :)

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Giant fluffy white-pinkish head, very huge at first, then subsiding into a rocky island. Attractive dark ruby hue. Nose is all raspberry jam, faintly lactic, cream? Palate is quite interesting, providing some malt to mingle nicely with velvety soft luscious raspberries! Subtle hops, malts and fruit, in great balance. Im diggin it. Definately a great fruit concoction, I wish there was more of this around!!! Kind of like swimming in a pool of wild raspberry, except that your snorkel would get klogged....Ive been Foundered~!

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This beer pours a garnet red color with a fizzy pink head out of the bottle. It has a light, effervescant sour cherry nose. Although the commercial description says "this is definitely beer" I don’t really get that. I didn’t get a lot of malts in this. It seemed like a light beer with cherry flavors added. While the cherry was not as medicinal as most other cherry beers, it still has an oddly artificial flavor. I’ll never drink it again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle: reddish beer w/ a lasting pink rose colored head of tiny bubbles. Raspberry tartness w/ some sour lactic aromas @ first. Strange, but the malt/raspberry profile to me sort of smells like a Crayola crayon, but becomes biscuity as it warms. Not much else in the aroma but raspberries and a little malt. Well balanced but a bit on the tart side from the berries. Very raspberry flavor. Very little malt flavor. Sweet up front & in the finish, tart in the middle. Aftertaste is a bit on the tart and raspberry and hints of malt. Highly carbonated, smooth, and a bit dry after it’s swallowed, and well hidden alcohol. I’m not a big fan of fruit beers, but this one is not bad as far as they go. A little too much raspberry for my taste.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
a bit of a gusher.. thanks to blake for bringing me back one of these. Pours a reddish color w/ a huge almost pinkish head that laces pretty well and flowed right over my glass. aroma is raspberries, and malts and some raw sugars. Palate is very highly carbonated id’ say overly soo. The flavor is overly sweet raspberries and I’m not a big fan of raspberries.. so yeah I’ll have a different beer next time.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
My first suprise was the crystal clear, deep magenta color, which I had previously only associated with "malternative" beverages--none of the cloudiness that one typically associates with wheat-based fruit beers. My next suprise was the predominant raspberry flavor. Being more used to wheat-based fruit beers, I’ve had raspberry flavor that ranged from non-existant to balanced, but this was "in-your-face" in a good way, with minimal hop and grain character. The only drawback at the time was the unexpected price, but I was glad to pay it for such a well crafted beer.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
I feel somewhat confident in declaring this as the best Fruit Beer that I’ve had as yet, ever. Huge raspberry aroma with sweet malt in the background. Beautiful appearance - deep pink/red wth a light pink head and light lacing, body looked lightly carbonated. Taste was squarely between sweet and tart - my friends know what I mean when I say "You can taste the seeds!" Damn good stuff!
