COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not another boring summer wheat beer or lemonade shandy—Rübæus is Founders’ way to celebrate the season’s warmest months. Optimizing the flavor of fresh raspberries added at multiple stages during fermentation, this stunning berry red masterpiece is the perfect balance of sweet and tart. No question about it, with a hefty malt bill and 5.7% ABV, this beer is 100% Founders.

An interesting "beer". The raspberry is quite intense and I didn’t detect any aspect of "beer" aside from the carbonation. I love raspberries, so the slight sweetness and very intense tangy flavor were very nice.

Brilliant red color with a white head. Fantastic raspberry aroma. Tart berry fruit on the palate, sweet, medium body, tart raspberry finish. Reminds me of Lindeman’s framboise lambic only higher alcohol.

Beautiful glass of beer. Nice color and great bottle art. I’m a huge Founder’s fan and waited a long time to see this in my area. Sadly, I think I set my sights to high because it definitely disappointed me.

Deep red, but clear beer, head gone in 2 secs flat. Bit sweetish, jam-like raspberry nose, if watered down a bit. Soft-sweet, jamlike again, breadspread, quite watered-down. Sticky, despite the light body. Far from great.

355ml bottle into schooner glass. Smells like a raspberry milkshake. looks like a blood orange coloured beer with a thin white head. Mouthful of fruit, dry tart finish. Excellent beer. Balances the fruity sourness with malt sweetness.

On tap @ Cuginis restaurant & bar : P-ville, Md. Rasberry red color and smell. Nicely balanced between sweet and tart. Crisp and refreshing. A nice change from the ordinary selection of beers. I was pleasantly surprised. .not necessarily a beer i would drink all the time. But a nice sometimes switch when i want something different and refreshing

Can into a tulip. Pours pink, with a moderate pink head. Nose is raspberries, and the taste follows. A touch sweet, but not cloying. Very smooth. Nice.
