Draft at The Porter. Pours a purpleish red with a thin layer of pink head. Floral aroma with strong hints of raspberries. Taste of raspberries with a complimentary amount of carbonation.

pinkish red, light pink head, aroma obviously dominated by raspberries, but with a slight maltiness. flavor profile is raspberries, with more of a tartness than i expected. was expecting more of a cloyingly sweet beer. still a decent amount of sweetness, but with plenty of acidity to balance it out. finish is nice and tart and longer than i would have guessed.

Rubaeus pours a dark ruby red with a thin bubbly beige head that doesn’t last long. The aroma is dominated by raspberries. The flavor is raspberry heavy with a hint of molasses and bread. Overall this is a pretty decent beer. The beer is very sweet.

August 10, 2014. Bottle. Pours hazy red with a small, quickly dissipating, off-white head. Aroma is lots of raspberries, sugar, light grain. Taste is raspberries, light/medium sweet with light tart. Medium bodied.

Bottle from SuperBest Ama’r Foodmarket, Copenhagen - pours a fuzzy red colour with tiny white/pinkish head. Aroma and taste is medium sweet fruity with prominent raspberry, some light malts, smooth mouthfeel, decent fruit beer this.

Raspberry red as you would expect. No head, unsurprisingly. This is very sweet and tastes almost like raspberry diluting juice. However, it is quite refreshing. The sweetness makes this a summer beer but the ABV is a bit on the high side for this to be considered a session beer; ABV is also well hidden by the sweetness. Too much syrup IMO, a minute sourness is present but disappears quickly.

355ml bottle. Red body with a medium pink head. At first it tastes quite nice and fruity but it becomes too much as you proceed imo.

Bottle from Wine Lord, Brum. Really pleasant. Nice pink colour. Subtle sweet fruity aroma and flavour. Not too sour, but tangy. Like a farmer’s homemade raspberry syrup.

355 ml flaska.
