Optimizing the flavor of fresh raspberries added at multiple stages during fermentation, this stunning berry red masterpiece is the perfect balance of sweet and tart. No question about it, with a hefty malt bill and 5.7% ABV, this beer is 100% Founders.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a hazy reddish pink color. The head is a two finger Jigglypuff shade that doesnt feature the best retention. Spotty lacing is left behind. S: Raspberry. Thats kind of it, really, but its a nice singular note regardless. T: The flavors are primarily raspberry juice and cream. Those flavors are nice, but its kind of one note to a fault. I really dont have much to say other than this one would do better on a hot day. M: Medium body, sweet finish, high carbonation. This feel is so average, its leaving me at a loss for words. O: I think I preferred Cerise to this one. Ive been looking to try this for a while now, so in that regard, this is a mild letdown. Of course, this beers monotony means I dont have to write a long review. Wooo.

BOTTLE 12 OZ. Almost clear amber-pink, decent beige-pink head. Its full-on raspberry jam upfront. After a while, some cidery notes add to the fresh fruit, as well as some earthy/dried leaves hops. The taste is similar - not overly sweet, mostly fruity - tons os raspberry. Its half and half a decent natural raspberry beverage and a fruity kind of beer. The finish is light hoppy and raspberry seed bitterness. Some fermented fruit astringency too. Not bad, certainly not an alco-pop style fruit beer, but still too far away from being a beer to me.

Bottle at Tasty post ride. Way better than I remember on tap. Matches deScription they gave of "liquid raspberries". Tart yet sweet and super light on the palate. Crisp, refreshing. Like a delicious watered down raspberry vinegar- sort of. Not exactly beer like, but tasty.

Big fan of founders, but this is awful. Like drinking syrup or Zima. Bad on so many levels

craftbeersweden (508) - SWEDEN - APR 16, 2016
Vintage 2015 edition. Ive forgotten this beer in my beercellar and the printing on the bottle says: "best by January 28, 2016" - Time to drink it!

The beer pours hazy with a beautiful red color. Two finger high, white head.

Nose: Sweet raspberry and cherry, very fruity!
Taste: Sweet malt, a little sour taste at the end. Raspberry of course. Tart. Love it!
Mouth: Medium body. Medium, soft carbonation. Sweet and sour.

Wow! I still love this beautiful beer! This bottle is three months "out of date" but it still is GREAT!

If you like rasperries, and you love beer, this will have a place in your heart. If you like cake and cock (minus the cake) than you will prefer the gayness of Coors light. If you have broad shoulders and have the steely eye of concentration we can be assured that you have a Blatz Light in your hand, and anger in your heart. Think about it. Or not.

Poured from a can. Pours a clear ruby red with a thin white ring. Aroma of very tart flowery Raspberry. Tastes like lightly carbonated sweet Kool-Aid. Flavors feel artificial. OK but not as good as I expected.
