COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not another boring summer wheat beer or lemonade shandy—Rübæus is Founders’ way to celebrate the season’s warmest months. Optimizing the flavor of fresh raspberries added at multiple stages during fermentation, this stunning berry red masterpiece is the perfect balance of sweet and tart. No question about it, with a hefty malt bill and 5.7% ABV, this beer is 100% Founders.

Nice red color with huge raspberry aroma. Sweet. Refreshing sweet raspberry taste. A little too sweet for me though . A bit too much on the raspberry side.

Draft. Aroma is dull raspberry with a hint of sweet and sour. Appearance is a bronze red with a light pink head. Taste is raspberry with sweet and sour mixed in. Palate is fruity with a sour hint. Overall, a good beer. Would have personally liked more tart. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Bangers. bright red color, light lacy head, super raspberry nose. Taste is light delicate and jammy. Slightly to sweet but not far across the line there. Pretty solid fruit beer.

Pours a very clear ruby with a thin off white foam. Aroma of raspberry and musty grape. Flavor is red candy and fruit with a tart sweetened finish. Thanks cards04 for hooking me up with this.

Bottle poured a clear red with a small lingering ambe head. Aromas of raspberry, cooky and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry lightly tart finish. Flavors of raspberry and cookie with crisp dry lightly tart lingering raspberry finish.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Pours ruby red with a thin offwhite head. Smell of artifical raspberries and candy, light malts. Moderate to medium sweet, raspberry jam, light malts, red candy, a bit artifical. Not impressive at all; and in another league than the other beers from Founders. Quite disappointed about this one

(bottle) clear, bright red colour with a medium tall pink head; aroma of raspberries; balanced flavour, medium long light tart finish; excellent raspberry beer - one of the best of the type I had

Red, mildly cloudy with pinkish foam. Candy, sweet raspberry in the aroma. Sweet, fruit, raspberry, with sweet muddy aftertaste. High in carbon.

Pours a ruby from a bottle. Aroma is of fresh raspberry and strawberry jam. Flavor follows suit, but with a pleasant addition of toastiness from the malt. Breakfast in a bottle. Good beer.

Bottle from Uto Beer, Borough Market, London, consumed at home Sunday 3rd May 2015 Rich red in colour with an almost pink head. Quite sweet to start but the freshness of the raspberries quickly comes though. Tart and tangy with a little muesli flavour, soft and smooth. It’s very nice, my only real criticism is that it lurches into carbonated soft drink territory from time to time. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Aroma of raspberry jam and general wheat ale. Taste is strong raspberry, then sweet caramel malts. After taste leaves a lingering sticky raspberry jam feeling. It’s almost as if I put too much jam on a piece of toast and scarfed it down.
