Pours a beautiful opaque maroon color, with a very thin head that fades into a white film on the top of the beer. Aroma is fresh, mashed raspberries, and a light malty fragrance. Taste is exactly what you’d expect from the aroma. Strong raspberry flavors, red grape, and plum. Mouth feel is light with nice carbonation. Very refreshing and enjoyable fruit ale.

Rated based on notes taken 28 Dec 2014 -- Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. This is pretty good stuff for a widely distro fruit beer.

Bottle at Devonshire cat, sheffield. Pours a reddish copper colour with wispy white head. Aroma is raspberries (natch) and also some warm earthy leafy notes. Taste is sweet and tangy sour, impressively leaves the same sensation on the back of the tongue as real raspberries. Slight prickle and medium body.

AndresTM (329) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JAN 10, 2015
it pours a reddish, dull amber with a bit of fruit sediment, like a very watery strawberry juice made with brown sugar. The smell is tart and fruity, with raspberry stewed with sugar and barley being the most prominent notes. The taste is at first moderately bitter from the grain and raspberry sweet and ends on a tart, slightly dry note. The mouthfeel is medium, with a slightly syrupy body and medium carbonation that gives the beer a mineraly impression. Unassuming but satisfying.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks zvikar. Clear orange-red. Pleasant raspberry aroma. Sweet and slightly sourish flavor with raspberries and a drier bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

On tap @ KBF. Pours a dark rosy pink hazy color with a thin slightly pinkish head that fades to a ring. Aroma is all raspberry. Taste is all a sweet syrupy raspberry fruit drink. No bitterness or sour funkiness to balance things out. Mouthfeel is thick and syrupy with a lot of carbonation.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Boozy, fizzy Vimto. Just the right side of beer. Very drinkable. Feels way under the ABV. Lovely.
