This beer is absolutely yummy. It is a non-carbonated reddish pink beer. Nice crisp raspberry fruity beer with a medium palate. This beer really has a great flavor without being overly sweet or overly sour. I love this beer!

absolutely stunning pour into a snifter. Deep ruby red with a small white head. And an unbeleiveable aroma of fresh raspberries. Smae with the flavor and you can even taste the seeds! It sour and at the same time sweet. The finnish is clean with no trace of alcohol........well maybe a touch. Holy shit this is good.....not a normal beer so its hard to score it as such, but truly innovative and the reason I drink craft beer. WOW.

AMAZING! sweet/sour rasberry tartness, mixed with bitter aftertaste, alcohol content is detectable enough to make this beverage a qualatatively different experience than drinking fruit punch. The carbonation is light. Appearance is maroon with a pinkinsh head

I normally dont go for fruit beers, but this will forever be the exception! Pours a pinkish red sparkling color that will put you in mind of champagne. it is possible to find the taste of alcohol underneath the raspberry/wheat flavors, reminding you that this is beer. A good drink anytime.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2012 12oz bottle, wonderful sour-sweet raspberry aroma, deep red/pink color. Amazing flavor, a complex combination of sweet and sour. The palate is reminiscent of eating whole raspberries. This beer has the raspberry flavor of a framboise lambic without being as sweet. The carbonation level is perfect and balances the sweet-sour raspberry flavor very well. The most intense raspberry taste of any U.S. beer I’ve had. Absolutely delicious and well worth a trip to Michigan just to taste it.

Pours deep berry red, nice , extremely long-lasting foamy white head, little lace. Aromas of raspberries, bananas, hops and alcohol. Taste is very much raspberry, but with malt and hop notes. Hops seem to be more noble than flavorful. Very little malt.Tart not sweet. Good mouthfeel -- very fizzy but not thin. Tiny bit of hop bitter in the finish. Very refreshing but the total lack of sweetness with the strond berry favor is a bit wierd. I would have preferred it a tad sweeter.
NOTE: I am rating this against other fruit beers, comparing it to other "regular" beers would be........ well, fruitless.

Founders does it again, this offering poured a dark red body with a huge tinted head even with a soft pour. The body is fully carbonated, the aroma is fresh ripe raspberry, green apple, horse blanket, wheat, peppery spice, similar to aroma of a dry fruit wine. The taste starts sour, not as powerful as a lambic but very suttle. It also has a sweet tart chalky mouthfeel. The raspberry taste is very apparent, some sweetness in there for balance. The carbonation is perfect for a refreshing clean feel on the palate. This is a fantastic fruit beer, I couldn’t drink it all night but it would be a perfect after dinner drink.

Pours a nice ruby red. You can really sense the raspberries. Fermentation from the malts as well as the raspberries. A really good beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy ruby red body with no head. The aroma is raspberry. Taste is raspberry, very smooth, not the slightest hint of alcohol.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright berry red color with a small pink head. The aroma was strong with sweet and tart berry. The flavor was tart, tangy and sour strong berry with a long tart sour berry finish. It reminds me strongly of Lindemans Framboise A fantastic fruit beer!
