Draft to pint at the brewpub. This batch is 10.8% abv, according to the board. Looks good; a transparent fuller golden orange with foamy white head. Smells and tastes of juicy and floral hops with a moderately bittersweet backbone thatís more sweet than bitter. Mouthfeel is medium to medium full-bodied and pleasantly bitter. A touch of heat, but not aversively so, especially for the abv. A good big DIPA.

On tap at the Founders Cellar Raid on 1/29/16. Pours clear amber with a thick white head. Nose of malt, pine and citrus. Malty flavor giving way to citrus before a piney hop finish.

On tap: The aroma consists of moderate citrus, grapefruit, and light dank notes. Itís a transparent golden-orange with a small one finger off-white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thick ring. There is some one soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate citrus, light tropical fruits, and some candied orange. The finish has moderate grapefruit, pine, and a hint of dank hops. Itís a medium-full bodied with mild and a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Overall, itís a little sweeter than I prefer.

On draft at Founders on Thursday for the Cellar Raid. Oh man. The pour on this is crystal clear. More of a ruby golden yellow with no head and not a lot of lace. Itís a little dark and beautiful. The aroma is amazing. Heavy hope start it off before a lot of pine resin kicks in and then it fades into a dank hop. Itís bitterly hoppy on the nose. I like it. The flavor is heavy hops. There is a tropical fruit and a great dank leafyness. Itís excellent. There is great hop and resin presences balanced and heavier on the back. Itís a solid beer. The mouth feel is spot on. Itís a little heavy, but the carbonation beings it just where youíd want it with a heavy imperial IPA. The aftertaste leaves a little to be desired. Itís sweet and carries a little hop bitterness, but itís we balanced and good. Iím a fan.

Pretty huge DIPA here. Aroma kicks off with tropical and citrus fruits with some fresh cut grass, and flowers. Taste is quite sweet and very bitter and boozy. Really hop oily with lots of abrasive flavors. After the great aroma the taste was a bit of an overly sweet and boozy let down for me. Glad I got to try it but not my favorite.

On tap at the source... Pours a slightly hazy cidery orange brown hue and topped with a creamy white head...sweet tropical fruit and mild mango-ey notes to begin with and ample malt profile to go with it. Dark malt sweetness present throughout. Touch of earthy bitterness but generally sweet mostly. ... Flavors are earthy, herbal and somewhat sweet at first. Pretty caramel malt forward meshing, little butterscotch, with the aforementioned while giving way to a healthy bitterness. Alcohol presence is felt coinciding with the malt sweetness and big bitter finish. Slightly bigger than medium bodied with semi-lively carbonation. This is a big guy and letís you know it.

Growler shared by Sarro and crew who very graciously hosted us during the Hill Farmstead 3rd anniversary snowstorm. Clear gold pour with nice rocky white head. Dank hop aroma, citrusy, piney, lemon, grapefruit, weed, still quite fruity, really good hop aroma, light honeyed malt notes. Taste is bitter, very hoppy, lots of fruity hops, piney resinous finish. Very light body for the abv. Excellent IIPA.
