Solid. Tastes like an American lager, but with much more flavor and hop bite. Refreshing.

Tap at the brewpub. Light gold pour, white head. Aroma of biscuits, fresh bread, some citrus hops are there too. Taste is light and crisp, some malt, slight hopiness. Palate is smooth, light, and easy drinking. I actually thought this was some sort of Americanized Helles Lager before logging this rating into RB. It was a nice summer offering.

Draft @ brewery. Creamy barley malt and bready yeast flavor. Hazy pale yellow with a large white head. Creamy barley malt, bready yeast, and grassy hops flavor. Medium creamy body, moderate carbonation. Not quite sure why everyone seems to hate this one, but I liked it.

Had on tap at their place in Grand Rapids with Alex. Pours a golden yellow. An average beer that is overpriced.

Why is this a tap room exclusive? Such an ordinary beer, and not very Founders-esque. It almost tastes like there’s corn in there. It was kind of hard to go from some of the more legendary beers Founders offers, and then having one of these. It tastes average. There is a slight hoppiness and bitterness in the taste, but it’s rather bland and unexciting. It’s definitely a sessionable sort of brew, but I’d sooner take their standard pale ale over this any day. Not much to miss here, folks.

Draft at Founders brewpub. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate earthy, yeasty and small malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. Good drink session beer.

Tap at brewery. Cloudy amber color with small white head. Light aroma of hops and citrus. Flavor is pleasent but not a lot of character. This was one of the non-distinct brews for Founders.

Light, light gold color, clear and sparkling. Really no head , just a little around the edge. Biscuity malt and grassy hops in the nose. Light in body, effervescent and medium finish. Citrusy flavor, lemon rind, a touch of sweetness, mostly dry. A palate cleanser.

Draft at the brewery. Yellow gold color. Funky malt and citrus aroma. Light taste with a hay and malty finish.

A malty pale ale that has no fruit flavor at all. Smells hoppy and malty. Poor Stark orange with a bitter finish. Had at home in a bottle ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

DLD ’08: Growler thanks to Chris: Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma, pale malts, grassy notes, grains, and some yeast. Flavor, yeast, some fruits, grains, malty and grassy. Not bad.
