(Critique chaotique du extreme beer fest 2013): Un bon candidat pour ruiner un palais, absolument aucune utilitée autre que de détruire mes papilles.

Sampled at the Raleigh Rare and Vintage Festival 2013. Clearish amber pour with a ring of tan head. Holy Shit! uber burning hot. It does have a great jalepeno aroma, but the rest is just strait burn. Palate destroyer. Ruined the glass for the rest of the festival. Why would you bring this to a festival??!?!

On tap at EBF 3/16/13. Golden colored brew without a head and a wicked bell and spicy pepper nose. Sweet malt quickly then an onslaught of spicy pepper flavor. Medium to high level of heat, this is a very nice pepper beer if you like them on the spicy side.

On tap at Founders... from notes. Pours a slightly cloudy orange color with little head. Aroma is spicy pepper, cereal, and a little bit of sweetness. Taste is full of all kinds of pepper flavor without being too hot to handle. Gives you a nice warming feeling all the way down. Very impressed with this, all the pepper flavors really come together.

Sample at 2013 MBG Winter Beer Festival. Aptly named beer. Destroys your palate. Just hot pepper. Two sips was one too many.

10 oz.pour at Tylers Apex.good smell, sweet and spicy. Mainly pepper, little orange. Tad hazed brownish orange color. Little to no head, no lace. Spiced flavor. Light body, smooth mouthfeel, spicy finish, I like it. Good drinkable heat. It’s all spicy heat.

Tap at rrbf. Lightly hazy straw golden with a fizzy white head. Nose is peppery, with light vinegar. Flavor is similar, didn’t spend too much time with this one trying to figure out which peppers were in there. Seems very one-dimensional and boring though. Wish they had brought something a little more interesting.

Draft. This is a beer that will wreck your tummy. This is a share with five of your friends. Do not have more than two ounces. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Founders. Poured a transparent golden. Flavor of a decent ale, maybe along the lines of a quality, lighter pale ale, but the serrano flavor was overpowering. Some poblano or anaheim flavors could make for pleasant drinking, but I was getting a shit-ton of serrano. Awesome flavor, but so caustic as to be nearly undrinkable. Best served in three ounce pours, or excellent for cooking...but not something that should ever be served by the pint.

By far the best pepper beer I ave had. Fresh serano and habranero taste. The others are there, some anaheim. It is peppery, but not vegetal, High heat but not overpowering. Delicious.
