3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Founders on December 29, 2010.
Pours a moderately-dark yellow color with a bit of haze. Good single-finger white head and a few streaks of lacing. Nice collar throughout. The nose brings a moderate amount of citrus and floral hops. Nothing too deep or pungent, but a good blend. The taste falls back a bit. Very minor amount of bitterness and a somewhat-restrained level of hop flavor. Good combination, though there is a slight level of grain in the finish that doesn’t quite fit in. Overall, went down smoothly though I still prefer the Endurance Ale.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
straw colored with big white head. spicey hops and moderate earthiness, with a slight tang. you could argue this was made for the masses, but i understand. no\t my thing tho, and among the most basic they have ever offered. thankfully this brewery consistently has 10+ excellent beers on tap at all times, and several others that are better than good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Poured a clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate simcoe hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind as a good session beer.
