Pretty decent for style. Pours nice with carpet lacing and clody dark brown colour. Aromas of roast malt and a little nut. Medium carbonation ad palate. Taste slightly bitter with touch of floral sweetness on breath. On tap at brewpub.

Draft. Poured a clear black color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate toasted smooke malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium roasted dark sweet flavor with a medium dark sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 crossovert (4558) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 2, 2012
Far too dark and blunt for the style. But it works as sort of a lager/porter hybrid. Not too bad.
