COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Founding Fathers Lager is a full-bodied American Lager with rich amber color. A combination of both two and six row barley, a blend of three classic American hops from the Pacific Northwest, and a touch of roasted carmel malt will make this the new American favorite.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Four Firkins in St Louis Park, MN. Pours a clear amber colored brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates to a film top and white ring. Aroma of light caramel malt, a hint of floral hops and bread dough. taste is light to medium bodied, flavors of light caramel malt, some mild toffee and floral hops. Finish has a low bitterness, light caramel malt and lager yeast (bread dough) flavors. Finish is very quick, very little bitterness and then a soft bread aftertaste. An average amber lager overall.

12 oz. bottle from six pack purchased at Publix. I didn’t know anything about this beer or brewery beforehand, but after I saw on the package that they donate 50% of the profits to military families I gladly bought one. Clear, copper amber color with a medium sized beige head that settles into a thin outer ring and inner island. Minimal lacing along the glass. Aroma has a mild roasted caramel malt sweetness to it. Overall flavor is decent, but not great with the tiniest bit of hop bitterness in the finish. Pretty thin and light for a lager which makes me wonder how much lighter their light version is.

Clear, dark orange beer. Cheesy label. Sweet, light caramel/dark syrup aroma, with corn. Tangy, moderately astringent, not very sweet, not very hoppy. Bland, cheap flavored but not wicked. Medium to slightly light body. ABC Liquors, Kerry Forest Parkway.

Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarket - Killearn - 12 oz bottle. Pours a light amber with a thin white head. Aroma has a light artificial fruit tinge to it, hint of metal. Flavor is quite bland, but not offensive. Some low grade caramel sweetness, some toasted notes, but not very prominent., finsihes with a nutty flourish. Decently thick mouthfeel. Much better than the Light. Looking forward to the Founding Fathers Premium I saw advertised on their website!

A standard yellow lager with some malt and minimal flavor. Not much going on. The palate is actually not bad, and it is drinkable enough. The rep said they donate 1/2 of their profits to military families, so I like that.

12oz twist-off bottle. Amber color, looks like a Vienna Lager. No head. Aroma of sour mash, some straw, some corn. Tastes like bottom of the bin barley and corn adjuncts. Finishes with a taste of steamed vegetables and some citrus in the very end. I can’t believe I wasted $6.99 on this 6pk. I should know better. This is SHIT. (3339)

The aroma leaves something to be desired it’s not offensive but not yummy. It has adjunct malts and metallic notes and cheap hops. The appearance is deep gold with a small head. The taste is malty and very non dimensional and very much like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall not an undrinkable beer but I don’t want another one.

No real aroma. A decent orange color. A very boring beer. A little tiny crispness to it, but mostly this is flavored water.

Medium amber color, very clear, with a foamy, two-finger, off-white head. It doesn’t look bad in the glass. Similar in appearance to Sam Adams Boston Lager. Nose is wet cardboard, malt and skunky....not very appealing. Wet dough, corn, rice, bready malt with a metallic astringency. That is also not very appealing. Thin body. Drinkable on a hot day but not very enjoyable otherwise.

bottle. clear amber with a large, fluffy, white head. sweet malty nose with some bready munich or vienna malt. palate is medium for the style and creamy. not as bready in the flavor as i hoped with an odd bitterness. pretty solid beer though.

Clear medium amber body with a good sized, slightly off-white sticky head. Aroma of grain and musty wet cardboard. Kinda tastes like a soured beer with some detergent in it. Really bad. Thin.
