Draft. Pours brown with an off white head. Toasted malts, faint nutty and toffee sweetness, and lighter bitterness. Good enough.

On draft at the brewery. Brown pour, slightly hazy, with an off white head. Chocolate, some sweetness, slightly nutty, some fruity esters, and a bit watery. One of their more drinkable beers, but thatís not saying much.

On tap at Legacy Kitchen in San Diego. It pours very dark brown with hints of red and a khaki head. The aroma is bready with hints of chocolate and coffee. The flavor is sweet with some dark fruit, mostly fig, and light notes of cocoa. Very fruity. Hints of toast in the finish. Just ok.

Really good brown in a world browns donít exist much in a micro brew scene. Slight roast and caramel. Good cream head and nice mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

[ Keg ][ 4oz ][ Legacy ][ $2 ][ Fluted Taster ][ 7.20.14 ]
>> Clear cola brown pour, spotty lacing. Nose is moderate milk chocolate, cocoa puff. Awful chemical taste, headache inducing, harsh.
