COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our porter is brewed in the traditional English style. It has a deep brown color and a creamy tan head. The mouth feel is highlighted with soft notes of chocolate and slight undertones of roasted coffee. Hop bitterness is nicely balanced with the malt and hop aroma being very low, typical of the English style.

Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate roasted dark malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is the good brew.

12oz bottle. Clear red brown color. Minimal off-white head. Little reaches and dots of lace. Good chocolate aroma, coffee. Light bitter, moderate sweet. Smooth crisp lighter carbonation, lightly dry finish. Lighter to medium body. Slightly thin body, but itís refreshing and easy drinking, aroma is very enjoyable.

Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a semi-transparent amberish brown with thin light beige head that quickly dissipates into lacing. Smells of dark malt with notes of chocolate and roasted coffee. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. Not too complex, but decent nonetheless.

thedm (4935) - Fort Wayne, USA - JUN 19, 2012
This draft brew from a beer festival poured a head of fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation semi-opaque brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malty and coffee. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild coffee porter. An OK brew just nothing special.

On tap at the brewery, Indy. Dark brown pour but not especially impressive in terms of body and appearance, looking almost like a somewhat hefty brown. Nose of modest roasted malts and a dollop of chocolate, not much in the way of bitterness or complexity. Solid drinking, a bit overly carbonated, and imbalanced towards the sweet end of the spectrum.

12 ounce bottle. Thin body evident in pour and taste. Thin head that quickly fades. Upfront coffee taste. But I wish this beer had more body.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Andy, 8/2/14

Aroma: The aroma is a mix of sweet caramel/toffee, coffee, and roasted malts
Appearance: It pours a muddy brown color with a thin head and quite minimal lace
Flavor: In the flavor the coffee comes out more, while the sweetness mutes a bit compared to the nose
Palate: It has a light-medium body with a smooth, clean feel, soft carbonation, and a roasted finish
Overall Impression: At first I thought this one was going to lean sweet, but the flavor is actually much drier than youíd expect from the nose. It gets a hint watery though, unfortunately, but it is still a pretty solid beer.

Pours ruby tinted brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is roasted chocolate, coffee. Taste is very creamy, coffee over chocolate. A bit of grassy hop bitter. Very nice to drink.

tap at the brewpub on Sep 1, 2013 - Pours up a medium amber color. Itís a light color for a porter. The aroma is led by roasted malt and includes some coffee. It tastes of dark roast malt with mild coffee notes. Itís light bodied with a moderately bitter finish. Itís alright though Iíd like to see more body and flavor intensity in a porter.
