3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It gets an overall 14/20, which is pretty much my go-to rating for a standard hoppy pale ale that doesn’t have anything special about it. It’s good, but there are a lot of very similar brews available for cheaper than $10 for 6, but I still wanted to try it because Fountain Square’s amber and porter were so good.

Aroma of citrus. Taste is mild citrus, lots of malts, mild to moderate caramel, mild alcohol, short aftertaste. Decent.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sweet bitter not very great. An average brew from fountain square. In general not impressed by their brews. Much better options exist. However nothing is below average either.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: cloudy and dark amber in appearance. Nose of cider and old fruit but not bad. Tastes like bread and hops but again tastes pleasant. Above solid.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
tap at the brewpub on Sep 1, 2013 - Pours copper colored and has ample caramel in the aroma along with some citrus. The flavor is also led by caramel malt and pleasantly accented with citrus. It has a medium body, gentle carbonation, and a moderately bitter finish. Quite good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Andy, thanks bud, 1/17/14
Aroma: The aroma has some citrus and floral hops, caramel, toast, and a hint of butter
Appearance: A hazed orange color with a small, frothy, off-white head and heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is light sweet, and medium-plus bitter, and just a slightly off/buttery finish
Palate: The body is medium, it has a decent feel, average carbonation, and a dry finish
I thought this one was decent, but there’s just something slightly off that causes the score to dip a bit for me. Not bad though.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Gold/orange body. Frothy, white head. Aroma of citrus, raw grain, pine, herbs. Hint of caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of citrus and toasted grain, slightly husky. Average at best.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. Mostly clear orange amber color. Little, sort of bubbly, off-white head. Caramel, lightly toasty malt in the nose. Good reaches of lace. Medium body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Nice bigger bitter taste, lighter sweet. Hop aroma here is kind of peppery, light hint of citrus, mostly herbal, not that I mind too much. Solid, bold pale ale. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and was easy to wash my dinner down with. Pretty impressed with the Fountain Square bottles I’ve tried, so far.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear copper amber with a light head cover and thin strips of lace. Taste is thin caramel malt with a light infusion of hops midway through the palate. Carbonation is dominant near the end before dissipating to hop bitters in the finish. Quite drinkable, but not memorable at all.
