3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a slightly hazy amber with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells sweet and malty with notes of caramel. Tastes like it smells with some hops as well. Average on the palate. Not bad.

tap at the brewery on Sep. 1, 2013 - Pours light amber-orange and has a lightly toasted caramel malt aroma. Itís sweet with caramel and some mild hops bitterness. This light bodied brew has a mildly bitter, toasty finish. Itís okay.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. Clear amber red orange color. Thin khaki head. Good rows of lace. Medium body. Smooth crisp lighter carbonation. Good toasty malt and nice light citrus hop. Moderate to stronger bitter taste, light sweet. Light caramel malt. Very good amber, very quaffable. Great to wash my sandwich down with.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. A fairly bland amber with an odd aftertaste that I couldnít quite place. It reminded me of a different style beer, almost Belgian in character. Not great.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mild and refreshing. A bit of light fruit in the body. Some caramel which compliments the amber color. Pretty nice without many unusual or outstanding features.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fountain Square already impressed me with a very good porter, and now hereís this top-notch amber. The hops are a little strong but still there is plenty of malt backing it up and it comes out smooth. Also, I give it points for actually being amber and not a weird red. Moving on to the next FS brew on the shelf next trip to the liquor store!

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draft @ brewery. Very, very light caramel malt roma. Clear copper with a small white head. LIght caramel malt and nondescript hop flavor. Body on the light side of medium, average carbonation. I found it bland and boring.

Tap@ Weber Grill - Indy: Clear, amber color with an off-white head and rings of sticky lacing. It had an extremely pleasant aroma of sweetness mixed with hops and maybe some nuts. Smoky, hoppiness runs through the flavor with a grainy aftertaste. For the style, this is an excellent amber ale. I think it ranks up there with one of my favs - Mack & Jackís African Amber.
