COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Bohemian style Pilsner with a subtle malty sweetness delicately balanced with German Noble Hops. This straw coloured lager is a great reward after a hard days work.

Backlog rating on 9-08-2012 at Mad Anthony Brewing Company Oktobeerfest (Fort Wayne, IN). This draft beer has a large white head that mostly diminishes, pale yellow transparent body, very little carbonation observed, and an ample amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is sweet malt and grassy hops. The flavor is sweet malt, grassy hops and this beer has a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. This beer is medium bodied and is very quaffable. It is not too hoppy tasting that it could be a session beer.

Draft - Light sweet grains. Pale clear god with a decent white head. Light, fruity, crisp bitterness and refreshing. Not bad.

Aroma is pale malts and hay. The flavor is pale malts, hay, mild earthiness, light fruit and a beery/mildly bitter finish.

An average brew from fountain square. In general not impressed by their brews. Much better options exist. However nothing is below average either.

355mL thanks to tastybeer! Pours a full haze uglier straw with weak foam. Nose is cantaloupe, chamomile, honey, candy corn. Taste is lemon soap, mild sugar, chamomile tea. Mealy, soapy palate. Somewhat juicy, but not a fresh bottle.

Draft. Light golden body. Thin white head. Aroma of grass, raw grain, cracker. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Lingering bitterness does not balance the overly sweet flavor. Husky grain.

FROM NOTES: July 20, ’12 Poured from a bottle into a tasting glass. A: Faint grainy notes. A: Pours a light golden yellow, with a thin layer of head. T: Initially it’s slightly spicy, slight citrus followed by malt with a bitter, drying finish. P: More full than I associate with a Pilsner but still very clean. Maybe not as crisp as I would expect, but could be due to the ABV. O: I’m not a huge fan of pilsners, but this one is a fine example.

12oz bottle. Clear golden yellow color. Minimal ring of white head. Couple dots of lace. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Medium body. Lightly dry finish. SMooth, easy drinking, and as refreshing as I hoped (was craving a pilsener). Good bready aroma, maybe a light pepper, but not much else to it. Moderate to stronger bitter taste, more than average for a pils but I’m digging it. Very enjoyable pilsener.
