4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Reminds me of a mix between Left Hand’s Milk Stout and Southern Star’s Buried Hatchet. A smooth complex mix of sweet chocolate and malt flavors. Feels a little heavy but light on the alcohol.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Roasted malt nose with the black porter and light, diminishing head are pretty standard here.
A robust and effervescent mouthfeel leaves this brew pleasant and sessionable. Hop bitterness meets sweet roasted malts in the back of the palate.
Not as clean as some of those with a good use of those clean but light crystal malts, but a good brew nonetheless.

Extra from Errl-thanks, Chris! Love the pop-the-whole-top can pull. Light roasty and caramel malt aromas. Light chocolate with a bitter finish. Solid. Would happily drink several of these on an early fall evening or something.
