COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This robust porter is smooth, chocolaty & sessionable. Medium bitterness, mild hop flavor & layers of malt make it easy to rock the block to the "dark side."

Can thanks to rightcross55. Pours dark brown with a small foamy head that fades to a thin ring and leave some decent lacing. Aromas are chocolate, caramel, light roast, and creamy oatmeal. Taste is sweet milk chocolate and caramel mostly with a light bitter roast finish. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Medium body. Very smooth. Very easy to drink robust porter. Nice.

12 oz. can from Errl. Thanks again! Pull-off top. Unusual can format. Pours a deep, basically opaque brown - near black - with what doesn’t look like will amount to much but forms a small, creamy khaki head. Aroma of dark chocolate, toast, lighter roast, earthy hops, and some chalky fudge. Nice. Reveals more charm as it warms. Flavor of dark chocolate, earthy hops, toast and roast, and just a hint of dark fruit. Finishes a little bitter and roasty. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a really smooth mouthfeel. Impressive porter. Beat expectations.

First off, these cans are revolutionary. The entire lid comes off with the pull-tab, leaving a completely smooth, circular delivery channel larger than a silver dollar. Can smell it perfectly from the can, no need to pour. I never want to drink from those traditional style cans again.

Dry, roasty, nutty; all flavors meld into each other nicely. Medium body, no oxidation or off flavors. A solid porter.

12oz can, thanks to DanielCoor. Pull off top, but I still gotta pour it into a glass. Dark brown red color, clear still. Thin khaki head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp texture. Slick in the finish. Very light carbonation. Some dark chocolate, nutty malt, kind of grainy. Some light bit of coffee, roast aroma. Moderate sweet taste. Light bit of bitter. Alright porter. Taste is kind of odd, and it’s a bit flat, but the coffee aftertaste speaks to me. Some good dark fruitiness, a bit of spiciness. Hint of molasses.

OK but needs some work. Aroma was of roasted malts. Color was fine, a dark brown with a tan head. The palate was light and watery. Carbonation a little low. The flavors were there but need to be amped up a bit. A little watered down with roasted malts and a slight hops bitterness. A mediocre attempt.

On tap at LUCK in Dallas. Pours very dark, smells a tad of brown sugar. Tastes of slight alcohol. Not a bad porter.
