3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Whole Foods in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is sweet light stone fruit. Med body with foamy carb. Flavor is a rather biting hop bitter. Itís slightly peppery. Almost spicy. Itís almost harsh hop, but not quite. Itís floral. Itís not floral. Iím not saying this is the best flavor ever, but the contract brewer has created something fairly complex. Genesee has somewhat redeemed itself. Or the "brewer" has a good recipe.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, melted popsicles and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, melted popsicles and light earthiness with a crisp finish. One of the worst IPAs Iíve had in a long time, should say Crappy Ale not Crafty Ale!

Gold pour, creamy white head. Hops up front, some nail polish, and metallic aromas. Flavor is lightly bitter, some spicy hops, light caramel. Ok I guess.

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
dear asshole who decided to bring such terrible beer into Colorado: youíre an asshole. it smells like concrete mix and stale egg shells, and what hops are there come off as moldy, dried, dusty old fruit. this is a joke and barely qualifies as beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours copper with a thin off white head. Initially, this smells earthy, but as it warms up in the glass, some resiny elements and citrussy notes emerge. Tastes of citrus, resin, pine, earthy, some underlying bitterness, spicy on the finish. Well hopped and enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle picked up at the Chandler, AZ Whole Foods pours pale slightly murky copper with near white head. The mild aroma offers up a bit of bitter grapefruit like hops and some vague sugar sweetness well off in the background. The taste is similar but I get the modest level of sugary sweet malts sweetening up the bitter grapefruit notes a bit. Still the bitterness attains a decent level as a bit of booziness helps wash this thing into the finish. The after taste picks up a touch of malt graininess and the bitterness wanes. Seems a tad lacking in depth and character but should hit the spot when the mood strikes.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (caramel), lightly to moderately hoppy (apricot), with notes of metal, diacetyl, pear syrup, bile.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, unclean.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic, metallic.
A surprisingly metal-tainted beer. Tin is almost the strongest aroma in this, and the hops are clunky/stale. Very dirty and metallic aftertaste. Pretty much zero effort went into this.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Medium amber with an average white head. Aroma is caramel malt and softly fruity hops. Sweet malt with a somewhat mellow hop profile and a quick bitter finish. Decent and drinkable but nothing to pull me back for more.
