"The best Four In Hand brew, not that that says a ton, but more enjoyable than the IPA or Winter. I think it would have been pretty standard, even bland, if not for the rye, which complemented the yeast and wheaty flavors and aroma, which were a bit on the light side."

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours as you’d expect, super bright yellow but hazy, thin head. Just a little sweet, almost lemonade aroma. This drinks with a very light character in every regard ... fizzy and light on the tongue, light in body, and just a hint of gristy wheatiness with a tinge of lemony fruit. Technically proficient, made for a narrow market. (#5720, 9/7/2014)

Poured from bottle. Faint malt, hop, citrus aroma. Cloudy gold with lacing. I taste wheat, lager hops, lemon. Crisp, refreshing feel. Not bad.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Whole Foods - 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy medium golden with a sticky snow white head that leaves a nice film of lacing. Aroma is slightly sour, some vinegar accents, a touch of bubble gum. Flavor is pretty bland with a slight sour twang, some slight bubble gum sweetness, a bit of an odd peppermint like candy essence. Mouthfeel is starchy and artificial. Not impressed.

12oz twist-off bottle. Cloudy pour, bright yellow color, white fizz. Aroma of lemon zest & puffed wheat. Lemon zest, bread flavor. The better of the Four in Hand bottles.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The aroma is slightly funky with yeast, wheat, malted barley, and citrus/grass hops. The appearance is cloudy yellow with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is typical. Overall it’s entirely forgettable and nondescript. Not offensive but not exactly session-able either. Just tastes cheap.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a hazy orange-straw with a finger of rapidly settling rocky white head. Aromas of citrus and fruits, mild wheat. Flavors of peach and mild citrus, mild sweet wheat. Very light body, clean and dry finish. Light, drinkable, but too fruity for a wheat beer.
