COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our award winning 8th Street Ale is based on an English-style "Best Bitter" which is the most common ale served in British pubs. What makes 8th Street Ale uncommon is its mellow bitterness and its slightly sweet malt flavor. It’s aroma is derived from rare, imported Kentish hops, and lots of them.

Great pale ale. Not too bitter nice sweet finish from the malt. Nice aroma too. The fact that this one is brewed minutes away from my house makes this a favorite. No Doubt.

On tap at Four Peaks in Tempe, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out subdued citrus hopping and biscuity malt. Flavour brings out floral hops and bready caramel malt. Reasonably balanced but pretty unexciting. Solid.

Draft at the source from notes. Pours a clear dark golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale, toasted malts, earthy hops, hints of caramel, grass, rather boring, pass.

A golden amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, light caramel malt with grassy floral hops, very subdued. In mouth, a light biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light mineral notes, a bit light and watery. Bottle at Courtyard Marriott Phoenix Airport.

Tap. Not bad for a bitter but nothing to really stand up and take notice either. Breast malts with hints of caramel. Light citrus more in flavor than nose and light spicy dry hops.

On tap at a Four Peaks bar in Sky Harbor International Airport. The pour is a clear golden orange with a thin white head and some solid lace. The aroma is lightly malty and very very plain. Maybe a touch of hops. The flavor is also very basic. There is a good malt here with a decent bit of hop bitterness, but nothing else. The mouth feel is thin and slick with a minimal level of carbonation and a lingeringly sweet malty aftertaste. Not very great for an ESB ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted from can. Pours a hazy orange amber with off white head. Sweet aroma of biscuits and bread, caramel, toffee and some earthy notes. Taste has moderate sweetness with mild bitter backbone. Flavors similar to nose. A little thin overall like most English bitters but overall an excellent beer for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
