Commercial Description:
Our award winning 8th Street Ale is based on an English-style "Best Bitter" which is the most common ale served in British pubs. What makes 8th Street Ale uncommon is its mellow bitterness and its slightly sweet malt flavor. It's aroma is derived from rare, imported Kentish hops, and lots of them.

Received from Deaz from TalkNCAA.com Poured into a nice Kansas Jayhawks pint. Limited carbonation released when poured, nice late head. Smelled of hops one wouldn’t expect (ok, I wouldn’t expect) to smell in an English Pale Ale Taste was very, very smooth. The hops I couldn’t really taste over the top like I expeced to in the smell, but everything is very nicely blended together. No real outliers of taste, just a tasty beer. Highly drinkable.

Deep golden pour with a medium foamy head that laces nicely. Aroma of lightly roasted malt and sweet ripe fruit. Flavor is much the same, with a nice light hop bite on the finish. A good brew, but not Four Peaks best.

Good local beer company, bottle: this is the company’s most popular brew, aromas of tart fruits, definately some floral and citric hops, fruits like tangerine, pours a 2 finger head, leaves behind some nice lacing, flavors of fruits, like citrus and tangerines, some floral hops, palate is a little bit watery, but finishes with fruty dryness, seems like a toned down Fuller’s, so they hit the mark with the style. Nice local brew

CASK. Absolutely! A smooth but formidable-tasting beer whose cream, apple, sugar and plant notes emerge without carbonation. Could have drank this all night, but alas my heart is a wanderer.

Pours amber from the tap at Four Peaks with a trim white head. Plenty of hops on the nose and a light malty body. Very forgettable in its averageness.

On tap at Scottsdale location. I’ve had this in bottle but never on draft before. Pours a clear dark gold with off-white head. Nose is light floral hops and citrus. Taste is very similar with a malt background mixed in. Light mouth feel. An ok beer – definitely better on tap
