COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our award winning 8th Street Ale is based on an English-style "Best Bitter" which is the most common ale served in British pubs. What makes 8th Street Ale uncommon is its mellow bitterness and its slightly sweet malt flavor. It’s aroma is derived from rare, imported Kentish hops, and lots of them.

12oz bottle. This yellow orange ale poured with a nice one inch head that reduced down to a lasting quarter inch. The smell is sweet malt with floral hop odors. The taste is sweet with a good hop balance. The mouthfell and carbonation are very good with a slightly dry finish. A very refeshing brew. I'm happy to see beers of this quality being produced so close to home. I ve been to the Brewery a few times but that was back before I started rating. I think its time for a another visit.

Bottle. The look is bronze copper in color. Thinner white head. The smell is hops, florals, malt, and caramel. The taste is much the same just sorta ho hum.

A very weak aroma of hops dried fruit and malt. Good looking caramel colour with a short lasting white head. Taste of malt and dried fruit. Watery feel with a sweet malt finish.

Bottle on the terrace. Light copper, spicy hop on the nose. Good balance of bready malt with floral hops. Very clean, dry finish. Reminds me of a Boston Lager in terms of that unmatched drinkability and great balance.

A damn solid easy drinking pale ale. Just enough hops and malt. A good choice for the summer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at airport in Phoenix. Pour avg gold. Nose slight dank hop, some floral hop, and crystal malt. Taste cleaner malt flavors up front and hop bitterness. Some pine. Mid palate light bitter. Overall fairly pleasing. The fact that it is 940am and I slammed the beer may have aided my rating

Location: Draft at the Production Facility Tasting Room, 3/8/14

Aroma: The aroma has some citrus hop, floral notes, and some malts as well
Appearance: This one pours a golden color with a decent sized white head
Flavor: Tastes much the same, a balanced flavor, light sweetness, and a medium bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a solid mouthfeel, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a solid one. It was not a favorite beer for me, but I had no problem with it overall.

Draft in a taster at the Wilson Taproom. Pours a clear copper-gold with a small white head. Notes of grassy, earthy hops, toasted and biscuit and caramel malts, straw - another simple one, and another effective one. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, earthy mouthfeel. Reading the description, I never would’ve guessed over 3.2 on this one. But it’s good.

Not a bad beer. Inoffensive. Wouldn't mind it being more "slippery" per the style. But available widely and good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Medium copper/amber pour with a nice off white head. Huge fruit and toffee in the aroma, followed by biscuit. Nice and easy drinking. Fruity hops, grain, and caramel. Session beer city.
