3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. This yellow orange ale poured with a nice one inch head that reduced down to a lasting quarter inch. The smell is sweet malt with floral hop odors. The taste is sweet with a good hop balance. The mouthfell and carbonation are very good with a slightly dry finish. A very refeshing brew. I'm happy to see beers of this quality being produced so close to home. I ve been to the Brewery a few times but that was back before I started rating. I think its time for a another visit.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted from can. Pours a hazy orange amber with off white head. Sweet aroma of biscuits and bread, caramel, toffee and some earthy notes. Taste has moderate sweetness with mild bitter backbone. Flavors similar to nose. A little thin overall like most English bitters but overall an excellent beer for the style.

I had this one on draft and bottle many times in Arizona. Malt and biscuit on the aroma and taste. It is very easy to drink.

Draft at the source. Clear golden body with a small white cap. Aromas of pale malts, earthy scents, floral hops. Pretty easy drinking. More malt forward than hoppy. Mild caramel sweetness. Ok...

Sample tray at Scottsdale location. Very light amber color, yellow at the edges. Thin ring of foam that stays. Bready aroma, with a citrus zest. Bitter. Light malt taste. Thin and watery. Like a hoppy Budweiser. Meh.

Bottle. Clear copper with a thin ring of a head. Malty and sugary aroma of toffee and candy apple. Sweet with low bitterness, chewy and syrupy buy nicely dense and frothy. Sticky sugar finish, lightly spicy / herbal finishing bitterness. Simple beer in decent shape.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted on 5/14/13 on draft at the brewpub. Pours lightly hazy amber with an average beige head that slowly recedes to average, sticky lace. The nose is caramelized grapefruit peel with some light bread malt. The flavor is the same, candied grapefruit, light bread malt, and pretty mellow bitterness. The body is just under medium with average carbonation and a medium bitter grapefruit peel finish.
