Our award winning 8th Street Ale is based on an English-style "Best Bitter" which is the most common ale served in British pubs. What makes 8th Street Ale uncommon is its mellow bitterness and its slightly sweet malt flavor. Itís aroma is derived from rare, imported Kentish hops, and lots of them.

12oz bottle. This yellow orange ale poured with a nice one inch head that reduced down to a lasting quarter inch. The smell is sweet malt with floral hop odors. The taste is sweet with a good hop balance. The mouthfell and carbonation are very good with a slightly dry finish. A very refeshing brew. I'm happy to see beers of this quality being produced so close to home. I ve been to the Brewery a few times but that was back before I started rating. I think its time for a another visit.

Light orange hoppy nose. Light flavor with excellent bitterness. Clear finish defiantly west coast style.

A golden amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, light caramel malt with grassy floral hops, very subdued. In mouth, a light biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light mineral notes, a bit light and watery. Bottle at Courtyard Marriott Phoenix Airport.

Tap. Not bad for a bitter but nothing to really stand up and take notice either. Breast malts with hints of caramel. Light citrus more in flavor than nose and light spicy dry hops.

On tap at a Four Peaks bar in Sky Harbor International Airport. The pour is a clear golden orange with a thin white head and some solid lace. The aroma is lightly malty and very very plain. Maybe a touch of hops. The flavor is also very basic. There is a good malt here with a decent bit of hop bitterness, but nothing else. The mouth feel is thin and slick with a minimal level of carbonation and a lingeringly sweet malty aftertaste. Not very great for an ESB ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted from can. Pours a hazy orange amber with off white head. Sweet aroma of biscuits and bread, caramel, toffee and some earthy notes. Taste has moderate sweetness with mild bitter backbone. Flavors similar to nose. A little thin overall like most English bitters but overall an excellent beer for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I had this one on draft and bottle many times in Arizona. Malt and biscuit on the aroma and taste. It is very easy to drink.

Draft at the source. Clear golden body with a small white cap. Aromas of pale malts, earthy scents, floral hops. Pretty easy drinking. More malt forward than hoppy. Mild caramel sweetness. Ok...
