COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry hopped version of the Kilt Lifter.

Attention all Four Peaks denizens! We, the good folks at your local brewery are proud, yes proud, to present to you our new seasonal, the Bonehead Red. Taking our cue from the myriad of beers we have so recently dry-hopped and knowing deep in our hearts that everything must be better prepared in such a fashion, we have unveiled our double dry-hopped American Amber Ale. In much the same fashion that your parents may have referred to you as "God’s little miracle" or "our little surprise" this little beauty arose in a similar fashion. As legend has it, late one night in the deep, dark recesses we call the brew floor, one intrepid brewer had a date with destiny. Not to get into specifics, but the night wore on and, well, have you ever had that one evening when you were supposed to go out with one person but as fate would have it, you found yourself with somebody else entirely? Well, unbeknownst to "this brewer" at the time, his evenings rendezvous would provide us with a serendipitous concoction that we just had to share with all of you! As Brewer-In-Chief Andy Ingram so eloquently put it: It has 6% alcohol with a strong malt backbone supporting a pleasant and fresh hop aroma and flavor. With our luck it will be a smash hit. That’s just great. Like all our other offerings we love it and hope you enjoy it as much as we did delivering it! Supplies are limited so come in and have one soon!

Sampled at Hellbilly’s Hellraiser II. Thanks Bockyhorsey! Pours from the growler a clear amber with a thin head. Roasted nutty malt aroma, along with fruit, caramel and very light hops. Sweet malty citrus peel flavor, with some hops on the finish. I think I could drink a whole growler of this stuff!

Sampled at Hellbilly’s Hellraiser II. Growler courtesy of Bockhorsey. Pours a clear amber with minimal head. Nose is floral with sweet apricots. Palate is sweet malt, orange and a touch of pine in the finish. Meh, better than a lot of ambers I suppose. Medium mouth feel and spotty lacing. Thanks Bill for sharing.

Sampled at Hellbillys Hellraiser II. Pours a reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma of hops, caramel and malt. Taste is hops, candy, malt and caramel. Pretty interesting brew, supposedly this was a Kiltlifter messup batch that they tried to salvage.

Draft @Tempe Location. Sweet malted caramel aroma. Amber body with dirty white head. Mix of sweet caramel and syurpy sugar ipa hops for flavor. Cool and crisp on the palate like an Ipa with a sticky sweet candy aftertaste. Good brew.
