Terminus (2621) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - JUN 14, 2011
tap at the brewpub during RBWG-deep copper hue with a soapy white head. sweet hop nose-floral and lite pine with some cheese. woody and somewhat lite alcohol. sugary sweet flavors here-not enough hops to dry this one out. almost sticky in the mouthfeel. becomes cloying. not well balanced but with some more hops in the boil, this would be a very nice beer verging on a hoppy barleywine. an ok beer but needs just a bit of work.

(On draught at Four Peaks Tempe). Pours clear mahogany with off-white head. Aroma of bright hops: grapefruit, mango and bread. Taste is a sweet malt backbone with bitterness throughout. A little spice reminiscent of rye. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Bitter finish. Nice beer that is hop-forward rather than malt-forward: just the way I like it.
