smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA Oct 9, 2007 Draft - not a lot of aroma. Cloudy pale gold body with a white head. Refreshing and very good!
Avengedpoet (62), Mesa, Arizona, USA Oct 7, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a luminescent yellow with significant wheat haze and pillowy-white head. Prominent notes of orange peel, clove, banana, and coriander explode out of the glass. Taste is amazingly balanced and refreshing. I wish that I had this beer every summer day. One of the easiest-drinking beers I have ever had. eaglefan538 (2077), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Sep 11, 2007 Draft w/ bockyhorsey and wife at 4P. Pour was cloudy golden-white, the whiteness one of my favorite parts of a nice witbier. The head was solid, as was the lacing. The aroma was dead on, coriander and spices (cinammon?), bananas, breadiness. The flavor was full bodied and hearty bananas, bread (banana-bread) with citrus supporting it all and a nice finish of coriander and cloves (like a Belgian-ed up hefeweizen). This was along the lines of Hoegaarden, a great production within style, a style that I enjoy. I may have even liked it better, especially because of the hearty and full mouthfeel, non-cloying finish. MadMan (480), Tempe, Arizona, USA Sep 11, 2007 Draft at brewery. Pours a hazy orange with thin white head. Aromas of citrus and spice, yet very light in the nose. Flavor is highly acidic with notes of coriander, orange and lemon, and a hint of cinnamon. Fizzy as hell and not quite right on the palate. I like the fizziness but the bubble size or something is off. Refreshing but a touch thin and bland. I will drink more of this though as I was rushed to finish this one. hellbilly (906), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Sep 3, 2007 tap @ the north pub...pours a cloudy instant lemonade color that seems almost fake. aroma is a lemon sandwich on yeasty wheat bread in a wet burlap bag...earthy flavor with lemon and wet wood. it has a salty character that makes it unusual. cold, crisp and light bodied...perfect desert drinkin’...
