COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Hop Knot IPA is made only from American malt and lots of American hops, which produce a big, broad-shouldered, hoppy beer backed up by a character as warm as, well, Mom and apple pie… Hop Knot IPA get its peculiar name from the weaving of four different hops added at four separate times during the brewing process. Including our cavernous hop-back, which gets so stuffed with whole leaf hops that we feel genuine guilt for its excess. Hop Knot is an ale that is to be enjoyed with friends, spicy food or any time you need a good hop fix without the harsh bitterness. We hope you enjoy this pioneering beer made in the bold spirit of Americans everywhere.

Came from out of state to see my brother and stopped their before going to his house. Got the sampler platter at Four Peaks Brewery. By far the best one of the beer selection. Kilt Lifter also worth trying. Liked it so much I went to the grocery store and got some in the cans. Took it to my brothers he saw I purchased it and said "I love this beer" when I took it out of the bag. Bought annother sixer before the wedding. I wish the could send it up to MN. Since the owners are from MN maybe it could happen.

A nice fresh hop aroma. Paler in color than the Raj. A pretty standard IPA in terns of flavors, but some real nice hops in the finish. Good stuff.

Solid IPA, nice floral & citrus hops with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Poured from a can tonight, but even better on tap.

A nice hoppy beer that is not overpowering like some of the bigger IPAS that are coming out these days. One of Four Peaks better beers. Their beers are hit or miss, this one hits the spot.

On tap at Four Peaks Restaurant (Scottsdale AZ). I first tried this beer a year ago, and I drooled at the thought of having it again when I returned to AZ for a visit. As the name implies, it’s a hoppy beer, in bitterness, flavor, and aroma. It’s more like an IPA, although Four Peaks makes a specific IPA brew (it’s *very* boring though). If you like a good west coast IPA, get Hop Knot!

I have had this beer in both Draught and Bottle forms. The color is a nice golden hue, and the aroma is a bit citrusy with an almost burlap bag aroma as if that bag was filled with hops. The flavor is crisp and clean with a nice hop bite that also brings that burlap to the party, very nicely balanced with a slightly sweeet maltiness. The mouthfeel is creamy but light in body. A very good beer to be sure.

One of my favorite local brews. Nice even balanced IPA, really nice on hot AZ days.

From the can. Clear golden color with a big white head that fades down to a sliver. Nose is loaded with citrus fruits; grapefruit, pineapple. The flavor is tons more of the same, lots of juicy citrus fruit and only a touch of bitterness. Just what a sessionable West-coast IPA should be.

Cask Conditioned. A light and citrusy IPA. Does not overwelm with bitter or alcohol. When on cask this beer is absolutely smooth and creamy on the palate.
