COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Hop Knot IPA is made only from American malt and lots of American hops, which produce a big, broad-shouldered, hoppy beer backed up by a character as warm as, well, Mom and apple pie… Hop Knot IPA get its peculiar name from the weaving of four different hops added at four separate times during the brewing process. Including our cavernous hop-back, which gets so stuffed with whole leaf hops that we feel genuine guilt for its excess. Hop Knot is an ale that is to be enjoyed with friends, spicy food or any time you need a good hop fix without the harsh bitterness. We hope you enjoy this pioneering beer made in the bold spirit of Americans everywhere.

12 ounce can. This is a great IPA. As soon as I cracked the can I was hit with a huge citrus hop bouquet. The flavor has a firm malt backbone allowing for the big hop profile. This is a fanatic IPA.

Good IPA. Balanced and hoppy but not overly so. There's an interesting note on the flavor that I can't pinpoint but which makes the beer intriguing. As far as Phoenix IPAs go, though, I'd rate this a tick behind SanTan's HopShock. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a golden color with medium white head. Aromas of mild pine and some mild resin. Flavors of some mild bitter hops that are well balanced with the malt. This is one of my favorite local IPAs and one I find myself going to when there are not very many option.

A good strong standar IPA, goes beyond the standard, pushes the envelope toward an Imperial with a good IBU rating and robust aroma.

On tap at the Monastery in Mesa. Golden amber with a thick foam. Aroma was strong citrus, some pine, and herbs. Medium body had plenty of carbonation. Hop oils gave good presence supported by a lightly toasted malt base. Finish was bitter and moderately dry. Enjoyed this.

Had on tap at brewery in Tempe. Really big hop aroma from this golden fairly clear breer. Really nice biscut and sparce nutty characteristic. The hops dominate which was very ennjoyable. Great Hoppy IPA

The nose on this fresh off tap was wonderful. Fruit and citrus with that hop cover. Taste is a very nice combo of hops and suitable malt to level it out. Highly drinkable.

Interesting, but tasty beer that isn’t a pale or an IPA but is still satisfying. Nice American hop aroma up front with some citrus, perhaps orange or tangerine, and a little spice. Light to medium amber color with a firm, but quickly disapating head. Flavor is hop first, malt second, but not overpoweringly bitter. Nicely balanced toward hops. Finishes quite dry and clean. Certainly one of Four Peaks better beers. There has been some discussion that this will be Four Peaks’ next bottled brew.

Had this tonight at PAPAGO. Served a gold yellow with a good head and great lacing that hangs in sheets on thre glass. Mild hops aroma with malt and citrus. Easy drinking beer with a easy hops flavor that makes for a good easy drinking beer.

This beer is excellent. Typical pale ale color. Light white head. Great hop aroma. Smooth bitterness with lots of hop flavor. Best Four Peaks beer. I wish they would bottle this sucker. Good stuff.
