Sep 26, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Scott; leftover from August tasting. Poured a coppery color with not much off white head. Aroma of biscuit, sweet malt, fruti; no smokiness. Flavor was better than the aroma. Biscuit, sweet malt, peat/earth like flavors, with some fruit (grape?). Flavor did linger for a while, with a nice soothingness. Strongest point of the beer. Better than I thought it would be.

Sep 8, 2008 Pours a copper amber with white head. Nose is of medium malt and biscuit flavors. Good mouth feel. Taste is of malt followed by a quick aftershot of the hops. Pretty good.

Aug 26, 2008 Pours a rich amber from the bottle with a trim white head. Aroma of red grapes and mild hops with charcoal and caramel abounding in the flavor. Refreshing and consistent.
