COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

Can. Poured into a tall Allagash glass a slightly hazed straw golden color with a bone white 1 finger head. Head recedes slowly and leaves some lace. A sweet cereal type note in the nose along with some lemon zest and white grape. Light mouthfeel with some carbonation. Starts lightly sweet and moves to a drawn out lingering bitterness. It’s a light drinking beer that is easy to drink. Overall, probably a good summertime beer. Seems this is a tough style to emulate here in the states but I would drink this again on a hot day.

A nice Kolsch ... I thought it was slightly sweeter and more malty than might be considered standard or typical. the commercial description mentions almost honey-like nose, I didn’t notice it in the aroma but might give a hint of that in the flavor which was different and an intersting suprise. It like that girl your friends tell you is ’nice’. She really is nice, but not anything to write home about or get too excited about.

12 oz can from cbkschubert! Nose is lightly sweet honeycomb, floral, and a hint of pears. Clear yellow with a small white head. Flavor is very light bitterness, that pear hint, and light maltiness. Finishes with light bitterness.

Courtesy of northernbrews. Pale golden, minimal head, ring of film. Aroma faint, have to dig. Pils malt, hay/grass and light honey. Flavor just as aroma suggests. Missing the mineral profile in the backend. No flaws, nothing wrong, just missing a few tweaks.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2010 Courtesy of northernbrews

Can: The aroma is incredibly light with hints of honey and grass. It pours a transparent light gold with a quarter inch white head that fades quickly to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with light honey. The finish has some faint grassy bitterness. Light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Pretty bland overall, but no off or offensive flavors.
