[Listed as Old Bourbon Porter at GABF 2004] A red-brown beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of bourbon, and so is the flavor, though the alcohol mixes in with a slight burn.

GABF 2004 Brown in color with ruby highlights and a small off-white head. Aroma of bourbon, roasted malt, oak and cherries. Oak flavor, malty with a sweet finish.

Listed as Old Bourbon Porter @ GABF 2004 - Good solid bourbon and wood aroma, buttery, with less stout and porter characteristics than expected. Wood flavor dominates with an artificial and candy-like bourbon or scotch flavor... too sweet and cloying in the finish.

brownish color with a big bubbled halo. Sweet caramelly hazelnut aroma with notes of sticky fudge brownie. Chalky and astringent nuttiness, followed by a mouthful of peanut skins, and a touch of bitterness...harsh grains here and over cooked hops, but not really as bad as I’m making it out to be.

This baltic porter pours with a dark brown body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet slightly sour with a slight roasty note and some malt. A slight vinegar note was noticed in one sample. The flavor is slightly sweet, malty and caramelly with some bitter notes and a touch of vanilla. Medium to full bodied and smooth.
