A light fruit beer with strong peach aroma, but not an overpowering peach flavor – great on a warm day. We chose peach because, believe it or not, peaches can thrive in Arizona and the flavor is very compatible with beer. Our peach ale has a subtle sweet flavor and aroma, while maintaining a light body and color.

Tasted on 5/14/13 on draft at the brewpub. Pours lightly hazy golden with a peach tint, and an average white head that slowly recedes to average lace. This beer smells and tastes exactly like a fresh, juicy, ripe peach with some caramel malt fortification. The body is medium with a sticky texture, average carbonation, and a long peach finish.

On tap at The Perch Pub & Brewery. Fruity and sweet with notes of peaches and other stone fruit. Easy to drink. Not for me.

On tap @ Hops on Birch. Clear pale yellow colored beer with a white head. Somewhat tart on the nose and a bit lemony, but there is some decent peach aroma. Kind of a peach flavoring/syrup thing. Flavor is lemony and grassy, mostly. Decent peach candy sort of a flavor to it. Wouldn’t mind drinking this over a lot of other garbage.

An unpleasant sour aroma of urine and yeast. Pale gold color, slightly cloudy. A pleasant peach taste, slightly sweet with a light feel not too watery. A sweet peach finish.

Pint on tap. Clear golden yellow, small head, looks like pale lager. Not much fruit in the aroma, maybe a little bit of peach. A little sour for a supposedly peach fruit beer, especially at the end. I get sweet tarts a little bit. Not artificial, but not substantial enough on its own, light and easy drinking but not good. Doubles down on the palate at the end, beginning and middle is tame. Ale that could be lager (not a complement). Annoying.

Location: Draft at the Production Facility Tasting Room, 3/8/14

Aroma: This one has an artificial peach candy nose, with some sugary and malt notes
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with an off-white head and some solid lacework
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, with artificial peach candy, and some sweet, malty notes
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a decent mouthfeel, and an okay finish
Overall Impression: This wasn’t necessarily a favorite for me. The sweetness tasted candy-like, and it just sort of overpowered the rest of the beer. Eh...

For what it wants to be, a good beer. Think wheat ale with a slight infusion of peach flavor. Easy drinking.

Nice low gravity beer, I was pleasantly surprised. Peach flavor is subtle and pleasant. Light body, good carbonation, refreshing. Pretty solid for a 4.5% beer. Would drink again.
