On tap at House of Tricks. Pours very dark with little head. Very strong pumpkin aroma, roasty and sweet. Pretty straightforward, pleasant and easy to drink.

Nice. Cannot complain. Good pumpkin spice notes; solid porter backbone. A bit of a kick, too!

Pours deep black with light cocoa head. Nice aroma of spice and roast. Flavor is roasted malt and light cinnamon and clove. Not over the top on spicing but definitely shows up. Nice beer.

Draft. Light brown with amber hues. Creamy lasting beige head. Pleasant pumpkin and roast aroma. Modestly spiced. Not over done. Nice roasted pumpkin kind of character. None of that childish candy/dessert beer quality. Well made. Would have again.

Bottle. The look is dark, brown in color, thin beige colored head. The smell is pumpkin, pie, spice, chocolate, sweet, and good. The taste is mostly the same a little too much sweetness.

I do not like pumpkin pie, I do not like pumpkin beer. That being said, I have to try this and rate objectively on it’s merits as a porter, and a seasonal.
12 oz can. Dark brown with a creamy tan head and decent lacing.
Aroma is cooked pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, roasted malt.
flavor doesn’t have much pumpkin, which in my opinion is good, but since it is a pumpkin beer, not so much. It is a little sweet and light in body, with a short finish, with the exception of the spice, which lingered. I think this could be a beer a pumpkin hater could drink.

This is by far Four Peaks best seasonal and every year they deliver. Not over powering or too sweet. Perfect beer for the 90 degree fall season in AZ.

Can: Deep cola in color, very soft roasted malts on the tongue, even softer pumpkin spices. Spotty lacing, body and mouthfeel are moderate to thin. Clean exit, but a little light. Soft hops, a touch ashy. Very simple and subtle, wished it were a bit bigger in roast and in spices. Thanks Dak!

Deep mahogany pour w/ fading brown head. Aroma is pumpkin and spices. Taste is a nice roasted malt, pumpkin and spice flavor. One, if not the best, pumpkin beers I have ever had. So tasty.

Draft sample at OHSO. Typical dark porter color with a brown head. Aroma is vegetables, black tea and grass. Flavor is the sweeter side of pumpkin pie with some perfume. The base porter is a little buried. Good though.
