Clear golden pour with medium sized white head. Aroma of citrus, pepper and grassy hops. Taste of citrus hops, slight peppery spice, slightly floral. Thin bodied, medium carbonation, low hop bitterness, great summer guzzler, ok beer otherwise.

Clear gold pour with a nice white head. This is a really great sessionable IPA! Crisp, juicy, light resin, floral hops. This will be Four Peaks new spring seasonal and will see cans! And itíll be available at Diamonback games!

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
A light hop aroma but itís nice. The hops are bitter but also citrusy. A quite dry finish makes this a little difficult to be a "session" IPA but itís quite good. Stopped by Sun Up also, where a local expressed the superiority of that brewery. Iím going to give the nod to Four Peaks so far.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served up on tap at the Wilson St. location into an aroma killing tumbler. This 4.8% beer has a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a thin bright white head. The modest aroma offers up citrus hops that lean toward lime as well as a light sense of grainy maltiness. The taste is crisp and green grassy hops that starts resiny with a moderately thin body that delivers up big bitter citrus and thin pine hops as well as a bit of cereal malts. The modest malt sweetness hits about midway as the lime and tangerine like citrus hop flavors grow as the hop bitterness recedes some. This has big crisp flavor for a somewhat small beer. The malt bill seems a bit out of place with cereal doughiness but in the end it doesnít get in the way of the experience all that much.

Solid PA. Clear, medium godl. Doughy pale ale aroma. This isnít going to set the world on fire, but it was a good session beer, and went well with the great food. On tap, brewpub, Tempe.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate resin and earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft at the Four Peaks tasting room (Wilson). Very light golden color with an extremely even, thin white head. Grassy, alfalfa hops on the nose with just a hint of earthy, grainy spice. Light hop taste with fairly sweet maltiness and perhaps a touch of lemongrass. This should be marketed as a hoppy pale, not a session IPA. The hop characteristic just isnít strong enough; the malt becomes the dominant flavor after a few sips. Light body with a earthy, piney aftertaste. Itís a refreshing session ale, just not quite an IPA.
