3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 unclemike (1925) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - JUN 9, 2013
thanks sparky for this 1 Poured a clear paled gold with an average sized white head. Aroma of pale malt, bread and honey. Ok flavor with sweet malt, honey and a touch of yeasty fruitness. A light tingling of hops in the finish

Can, not sure the age on this. Clear yellow gold, medium white head. Aroma and flavour are both clean grains, mildly sweet. Very little bitterness or aromatics here. Not sure how this qualifies as a kolsch but whatever, to me it was a middle-of-the-road pale lager.

Draft sample at the Wigwam beer fest. Certainly drinkable, certainly refreshing, but certainly without any strong characteristics. Average but not bad by any means.

As kolsch’s go this one is quite drinkable. Most brewpub golden ales tend to be just an after thought but Four Peaks makes a serious true to style beer and the best thing is that it comes in a can and is great for camping, hikeing, etc.

12oz can from my wonderful lady after her trip to Tucson. I think this is my first kolsch in can. Pours a dull yellow with a slight haze. Small head. Aroma is slightly fruity akin to many American kolsch with a faint hopiness. Flavor is clean wih light sweetness and an awesome sptritzy mineral character. I really like that part, makes the beer for me. Light beer, very quaffable

Tap @ Four Peaks Tempe. Pours a clear, light yellow appearance with a small white. Light herbal, mild lemon, fairly balanced aroma. A bit sweet, lightly citrusy, grassy, a bit earthy flavor. Solid Kolsch.
2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 cthomas2390 (126) - Colorado, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Pours a clear straw but less head than you would expect for a kolsch. Nice noble hop aroma that is counterpounted by a slight pale malt note on the taste. Palate is a bit too sharply carbonated. Hop finish is a bit strong.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 savnac (2135) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Draft @ Four Peaks. Very light yellow, clear and a dense, creamy white head. Aroma of grainy malt, spicy noble hops, citrus and hay. Flavor is light clean cereal grain, refreshing hop bitterness and a fairly clean yeast profile. Light body with a crisp, clean finish. Good example of the style, probably a perfect beer for hot AZ summers.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kaser (1125) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Had this on draft at four peaks brewpub. Light yellow pour. A summer beer in my opinion. Smooth and easy drinking. Nothing special bit would have again

On tap at the Scottsdale brew pub. Comes a light cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, and grain. Taste is malt, lemons, wheat, and a bit of hops. Light and easy to drink.
